Network Marketing: Old School V.s. New School

Network marketing has changed tremendously since its move to the internet; its move has made it easier for the average person to create another source of income. Old school network marketing was all about face to face selling; home meetings, hotel meetings, and one on one meeting. There is nothing wrong with using face to face selling as a means of introducing your business to potential prospects, but it does have one major problem. Your average person is not a salesman, and they can’t do it!

Network marketing online, the best business models anyway; use the franchising concept to its fullest function. The franchising concept is about a group of people already having the products and services in place, and the strategies spelled out in a simple form to bring in customers. The reason you are integral in the franchising concept is someone is needed to do the work; and having a ton of franchise owners is better than having one owner and a ton of franchises. Why is that? Try to imagine Ray Kroc running 25,000 McDonalds stores, it would be very difficult for him to do so. Instead he would rather teach you how to be successful, and take a small percentage of the income you generated as compensation. That is what network marketing on the internet is all about, and why it works better than the old school methods.

Network marketing on the internet is about finding a good franchise already set up with products and services, and the strategies spelled out to generate customers. The founders of internet network marketing franchises want you to be successful, because there is no possible way they could do it all themselves. They would rather teach you how to generate traffic to your site, show you what ads pull in the most customers, give you the market tested sales letters. Because they can’t do all work, it would be impossible for them.

New school network marketing trumps old school because of the system set in place. It doesn’t rely on that special sales person to do hotel meetings and face to face selling to bring in the customers. New school network marketing relies on having strategies already in place that tell the average person how to get traffic back to their website, what sales letters to send a prospect, what ads to place, and how to generate that free traffic if you don’t have the budget. The system does all the selling, and all you have to do is get the traffic, and answer the occasional question by email. And with the internet you are not limited by your town or city, the world is your marketplace!
